Lisa has been practicing psychotherapy in various settings since 1997 and has worked with a variety of populations. Her belief in the crucial connection between mind and body led her to study at The University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, directed by Dr. Andrew Weil. She was accepted into the inaugural class of the Integrative Health and Lifestyle program which provided her with a strong foundation in Integrative Health; working with all aspects of a person’s lifestyle.
She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy and as research has shown, has found it to have highly effective results with her clients that come to her suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma or relationship issues that linger despite all they have previously tried, including other therapies.
Lisa has a strong background in working with couples addressing different areas such as communication issues, premarital counseling and pre-baby counseling.
As she understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship, Lisa is willing to answer any questions during a free phone consultation prior to the initial session.
