“After experiencing EMDR Therapy, I understand what it means when people say they have had a “break-through”.  Things seem to fall in place; make sense.  I would leave sessions emotionally lighter than when I arrived.  And situations that arose after EMDR therapy sessions were also easier to handle.”

“My experience with Lisa and the Restorative Center has been life changing. From day 1, Lisa made me feel comfortable and safe and I knew at that point this was a journey worth being on. Lisa’s knowledge and expertise in EMDR is really where the healing began for me as she guided me through this easy but powerful technique. I truly believe in the effects and results of EMDR as I experience it daily in my own life. I also loved that Lisa had a plan. We didn’t talk in circles but focused on healing and moving forward.. I have recommended Lisa to countless friends and they too have seen life changing results. Not a day goes by that my family and I aren’t thankful for the impact Lisa and the Restorative Center have had on our lives.”

“As a Christian, husband, and father I knew my ability to offer a peaceful man to those around me hinged on exposing my past tribulations to the light.  EMDR is a dynamic method of therapy which allowed me to experience, manage, and heal from previous events while maintaining safeguards to ensure closure.”

A national research study found that 50 percent of psychotherapy clients had made improvement within eight sessions of therapy, and 75 percent showed improvement after six months of therapy.

Most individuals complete psychological treatment within three to six months. The nature of the problem affects the length of treatment. For example, a serious depression requires more treatment than a mild stress response, or counseling to make a life decision.
